Hi all,

I am a new LC/MS user (several years experience on GC/MS though). Now I am having the prolem of sensitivity. Could you please give me some advice that I could increase the sensitivity : the tune, the modes, sourse etc..
Thanks for any suggestions

What is the nature of the compounds of interest and what are you using as mobile phase? What brand is your LC/MS?

The tuning parameters, modes, sources changes from molecule to molecule. Can you please inform me what is the molecule you are going to work and its mobile phase then probably I can help you out.

Also please note LC-MS ( Single quad system ) systems are not considered as high sensitive systems when compared to triple quads & ToF systems. Where as Ion Traps are very high sensitive systems.
