I can't remember exactly, but it's at least 13 as a full-time chromatographer, so let's call it 750. Three-quarters of the way.

Thanks IMH aidnai and all the others (too many to name).
I wouldn't discount your other scientific experience. For example, some of my early experience in the oils and fats industry it still proved really useful later as an analyst (- I discounted my 1 year as a gardener when I was out of work for a year
)
As I said, whether it be 1 year or 50 years, it is still scientific knowledge/experience that we have available to the others.
