Hallo,

I have a Shimadzu GCMS-QP2010 equipment and I have problem with opening the vacuum door. I fully turn the opening knob but the door simply won't go. The vacuum is fully vented and the power is off.
Do You have any ideas or suggestions what I could do to try open it without calling service?

Maybe try to remove the column nut at the interface and hear if there's air getting in.

In case you hear no air, on some system (very old Agilent) sometimes happens that you have to gently pry open the door with a screwdriver.

Good luck.
