Hello everybody.

I am ruther new to GC/MS and was wondering if you are using normal pipetts or positive-displacement pipettes.

I prefer glass because plastics have plasticizers and other small molecules that relate to manufacturing. Avoid extractign extraneous stuff into your samples and you do not have to deal with the peaks.

I am aware of some target analyses that use plastic, disposable labware. And, this works as long as you can see your target analyte.
