Shimadzu GC-2010 Plus Real Time Chromatogram Faulty

While there is a real time analysis of sample, there is chromatogram on the GC's screen but there is a flat base line running along the analysis time on desktop's screen. May I know what is the problem? Thank you for your sincere help.

Please explain better you problem. If you have 2 detectors installed you're probably reading the wrong detector chromatogram on the software, or it could be a simple zoom difference...
There is the possibility that the instrument isn't connected well to the PC but you would already know it because the software wouldn't work otherwise.

There is only 1 FID detector and I checked it is not the zoom difference. Yup. I really have no idea about the problem. There is chromatogram appears on GC-2010 Plus screen but there is no chromatogram on the PC software.

It could well be that the GC is disconnected, if the run is started from the GC not the software then it could be running all on its own. Check all the cables are plugged in and try rebooting everything.

Dear Johnny Rod,
I give the command in the PC, not in the GC.

2010 has 4 signals (data collecting channels)
Which detector is bound to which signal is determined by software config.
Signal binding can also be examined from GC keyboard.
Just verify if your signal is bound to the proper detector.
GC is painting detector readouts but not GBUF0..3 internal file.

How to check the signal is bound to the proper detector?

I cannot exactly verify, but seems like [Options] / [Signals] on Gc keyboard or [Options] / [Detectors].
There is 3-level config menu.
Same settings are in GC Solution config, but I never used it.
I run GC-2010 with our UniChrom, and configured the GC from keyboard.

Hi
Strange situation
4 data collection channels that antonk is thinking about are used for collecting data through analog converter only as I remember. At the rear of GC two analog output connectors are prepared for that.
If you use GC Solution communication and data transfer is made through digital RS-232.
In GC Solution in FID tab there is "signal acquire" field that has to be marked if you want to store chromatogram data.
If you press "Zero free" or "Zero Adj" with GC keybord does GC Solution reacts?
