condensation method gc

hi all,
According to condensation method, let the gc oven in 40C for 8 hrs. Then load as per normal method and run to see blank run without injection. I would like to know is it oven temp i only set to 40C only? Do i need to lower d temp of the inlet temp or detector temp?
