Hi all!

Sorry for my bad English)

I have a trouble with Agilent 5973 MSD. It started when power outage happened and MSD powered off during analysis.

After powered on, Autotune stopped with error "Tune action stopped: Gain and offset = 0 and peaks are too narrow!"

I plugged new filament. No changes.

I cleaned the ion source. No changes.

I tested voltage and resistance of filaments. It was normal.

And then I pinged nests of filaments, repeller, ion focus and entrance on green board (J2 and J5 places on photo) with ground with my multimeter.

And all are pinged except ion focus.

I did it same with working Agilent 5975ะก. There are no ping on ion focus and entrance!!!

I decided, that trouble with entrance in MSD 5973.

Can you help me, please?

Have you tried the "Restore previous tune" menu option in the tune window? You can load an older tune to replace the current one, because sometimes when the software doesn't shut down properly it can corrupt the current tune file.
