SEC/MALLS

Dear Everyone,
I am developmenting a HES Starch analysis method using SEC/MALLS.
However, I need to degradate the HES molecule and identify and quantify the subproducts but MALLS doesn't get realize this because probably the subproducts like Glucose and 5-HMF are very small and the MiniDAWN Treos detector can only detect molecules over than 1000 Da.
I used PDA to quantifying 5-HMF and a RI detector to Glucose. I am having good results with 5-HMF, but Glucose is not being detected.
Anyone can help me?
