How do you get a run to Stop on fault?

I know you can program Empower to Stop on Fault if your system suit fails the specification, however if you get an error in the middle of your run for example missing vial, hardware error etc how do you get the run to default to low flow of 90:10 if you have a buffered mobile phase?
I run a gradient method with a 40 minute run time, is it just a case of adding an extra line to the gradient such as:
0.3ml of 90% A 10% B and a run time of, say, 45 minutes?

Method set must contain processing method, processing method must contain limits, standards must be processed "normal" as they're collected, start the SSM dialog box must include the appropriately checked box for what to do if/when there's a fault (default is to continue).
I think that covers it.

Thanks for that, but that's for system suit injections only as far as I know. IM talking about if there was an instrument failure halfway into your run (Injector fluidic error, missing vial) can you set your gradient to jump to a low flow of your mobile to stop all the mobile flowing away and your column being baked?
As far as I'm aware, if you have a gradient run and you add in a last line that's a higher time than your end of gradient and if the system is still running at this time it switches to your low flow conditions. I'm not 100% on that though.

That's it - almost. Repeat the last line of your analytical conditions (either initial or end of gradient) with a time that exceeds your run time by a few minutes, then add a line w/ low flow conditions to be executed shortly after that. As long as things go well, these lines will never get run, but if something fails (usually on the computer side), the LC will "fail safely" and conserve your mobile phase.
