Ion suppression by THF in ESI?

What are your opinions on this issue? How bad is the ion suppression if THF is used as part of the HPLC eluent (e.g. 5%)?

I haven't heard of any ion suppression issues when using THF in such small %. Are you sure you don't mix it up with TFA?
