I have a question to be done and if someone knows I respond I am grateful!
I would like to know if peak generated with a MS / MS in ion trap is recognizable in a bookstore and if this is not the case that I probabiltà peak that it is happening only time retention.
all help them make convenient

Libraries do exist for MS/MS spectra generated on an ion trap. Your unknown must be in the library for it to be recognized. The ion trap libraries that I know about are not nearly as extensive as the NIST EI library.

My question of the post comes from an analysis done to determine PCBs in water and the thing that makes me strange is that I find only two congeners on 209 and I'm not sure seems strange.
Thank you for your opinion!

Is there ESI-MS library, available at all
Halket had produced a library base on (mostly) ESI ion trap data from an LCQ (Deca version, I think). It used to be available from Thermo Finnegan. I confess, I haven't kept up on it, so don't know if it is still available or whether it has been further expanded.
