My validated method states to run a standard followed by 5 samples then another standard and so on, with samples quantitated using a bracket standard sliding set up with overlap. Im trying to calculate the average amount for samples which can be split over 2 different brackets and it wont give the correct result for this. My function lines are Clear Cal, Cal and Quantitiate between brackets. Unknowns and standards set to Don't Process or Report and the Clear Cal, Cal and Quantitate set to Normal.
I have two custom fields, 1. Amount*CConst1 and 2. SAME.%.SAME.AVE(Amount_CConst1) but I cant get the right answer for CF 2...
I would have thought Empower first calculates Amount*CCOnst1 THEN summarizes all those values with the same label, even if this label is split over 2 calibration curves, but that's not happening. Has anyone ever had to code a cf like this or see a way around my dilemma? Thanks.
